Inter-Umbra
INTER-UMBRA (2010-14) fuses the shadows of different garden vegetables with projections of printed images. The beamed light that transports the reproductions of art historical engravings or astronomical photographs, simultaneously illuminates the folds and branched veins of vegetal still lives to create a pictorial palimpsest. The stratification of distinct temporalities and spatialities yields graphic form to a variety of visual data straddled between reality and illusion.
INTER-UMBRA (2010-14) funde las sombras de distintas hortalizas con proyecciónes de imágenes impresas. La luz arrojada que transporta las reproducciones de grabados artísticos o fotografías astronómicas, ilumina simultáneamente los pliegues y las venas ramificadas del bodegón vegetal para crear un palimpsesto pictórico. La estratificación de diversas apreciaciones espacio-temporales rinde apariencia gráfica a una variedad de datos visuales extendidas entre la realidad y la ilusión.
